The 1939 building, which was once the Esquire Theater, is the site of the impressive Ross Ragland Theater and Cultural Center. This popular cultural venue is host to numerous shows, symphony orchestras, and performances that conquer the stage throughout the year. The Ross Ragland Theater, to quote what's written on its website, “is the only year-round, multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary arts center in South Central Oregon and Northern California”.
Ross Ragland Theater also serves as a venue for art exhibits. Around three to four exhibits are showcased in the lobby annually. These exhibits showcase the works of local Oregon artists.
If your thirst for the theater and arts has not yet been quenched, Klamath Falls land lots are close to Ashland, which celebrates the Oregon Shakespeare Festival every year. From February to October, eleven theater productions grace three stages and of these eleven plays nearly half are Shakespearean.
